Excess ve force can break the nut or damage the refr gerant p p ng. You must not exceed
torque requ rements shown n the table above.

7.4 Instruct ons for connect ng p p ng to outdoor un t

1. Unscrew the cover from the packed valve on the s de of the outdoor un t. (See F g. 7.9)
2. Remove protect ve caps from ends of valves.
3. Al gn flared p pe end w th each valve, and t ghten the flare nut as t ghtly as poss ble by hand.
4. Us ng a spanner, gr p the body of the valve. Do not gr p the nut that seals the serv ce valve.
