With the hair clamped, move
the straightener straight
toward the hair ends.
•
Move the hair straightener slowly
(at a speed slower than ordinary
brushing) to thoroughly soak the
hair in a steam.

Repeat on the same bundle of hair as necessary
depending on the curliness of the hair.
•
If the hair is difficult to straighten, straighten some of
the curls, then set the switch to "1".

With the hair straightener closed, set the switch
to "0·LOCK".
(The power turns off and the press plate locks.)
•
If the power is turned off with the hair straightener
open, the press plate does not lock.
•
Press the center of the grip as
shown and set the switch to the
"0·LOCK" setting.
(If the center of the grip is not
pressed, the press plate may not
lock properly.)

Notes

•
Use the hair straightener on dry hair. (Use on wet hair
is not effective.)
•
The hair straightening effect may differ according to
the individual, such as the degree of curliness and
hair type. Straightening tends to be more difficult for
hard hair and hair having a flat (oval or triangular)
cross-section.
•
This straightener is intended to straighten hair only for
that day.
•
This straightener does not straighten kinky hair.
•
Do not use the straightener immediately after a home
straight perm liquid is used. Doing so may damage
your hair.
(The straightener may be used - days after a
straight perm liquid. The straightener may also be
used - days after having your hair treated at a
beauty parlor.)
•
Do not use together with straight perm liquids having
the same ingredients (reducing agent) as permanent
wave liquids. The reducing agent may damage your
hair.
Check the back of cosmetic bottles whether liquid
contains a reducing agent or not.
For difficult to straighten hair

After straightening the some of the curls at the
"2" setting, set the switch to the "1" setting and
clamp the hair.

several times.
