Checking for normal, in-service, operation

Once a DGT Unit is configured and ready for operation please review the following
summaries depending upon which type of DGT you are checking.
DGT-U Normal Operation
The PWR (Power) LED is illuminated continuously when power is applied.
The LINK LED is illuminated continuously. Note that the DGT-R that the DGT-U will
communicate with MUST be powered on, fully configured and fully functional for the
LINK LED to be illuminated.
The SERV (Service) LED is not flashing.
The IN LED will be lit only when energized in the event of a Trip. If there is no Trip
condition then this LED should be off.
The output LEDs, OUT-1 through OUT-7, reflect the status of the DGT-D assigned to it.
LED OFF is DGT-D status de-energized. LED ON is DGT-D status energized.
If any of these indications is behaving differently, please see section 6-1 for corrective
actions.
DGT-R Normal Operation
The PWR (Power) LED is illuminated continuously when power is applied.
The LINK LED is illuminated continuously. Note that the LED will blink when the DGT-R
is passing data over-the-air between the DGT-U and DGT-D devices.
The COM1 LED blinks only when there is serial communication traffic during
configuration.
If any of these indications are behaving differently, please see section 6-1 for corrective
actions.
DGT-D Normal Operation
The PWR (Power) LED is illuminated continuously when power is applied.
The LINK LED is illuminated continuously. Note that the DGT-R with which the DGT-D
will communicate MUST be powered on, fully configured and fully functional for the
LINK LED to be illuminated.
The SERV (Service) LED is not flashing.
The IN LED will be lit only when energized by in the event of a Trip. If there is no Trip
condition then this LED should be off.
The OUT-1 LED reflects the status of the DGT-U trip status. LED OFF is DGT-U trip
status de-energized. LED ON is DGT-U trip status energized.
The OUT-2 LED is reserved for future use
If any of these indications are behaving differently, please see saection 6-1 for corrective
actions.
