KSM02 Motor-Integrated Servo Drives Operation in Potential‐
For the use of the products in potentially explosive atmospheres, use cables
with a thermal stability of at least 80 °C (176 °F).
Rexroth provides suitable ready-made cables for the products. The cables
are checked concerning their conformity with the ATEX directives and
relevant DIN and EN standards. Use the following documentation to make
your selection: DOK‑CONNEC‑CABLE‑*INDRV‑CA⃞⃞‑⃞⃞‑P.
Black, RAL 9005
WARNING
It is not allowed to apply an additional varnish coat to products for potentially
explosive atmospheres, since this has a negative effect on the surface
properties (such as insulation resistance, electrostatic charge).
Observe the information on attached driving elements.
Before attaching driving elements, check the suitability of the overall system
in accordance with the ATEX Directive and comply with it during operation.
The plant manufacturer or operator is responsible for selecting all the
attached components.
WARNING
The entire motor-machine combination must comply with the requirements for
explosion protection in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU.
For project planning and during operation, please observe the notes in the
product documentation of the components used.
NOTICE
Gearbox oil present at the output shaft is not allowed.
When attaching gearboxes, only use gearboxes with a closed (oil-tight)
lubrication system. Gearbox oil should not be in permanent contact with the
shaft sealing ring of the motors.
When attaching driving elements, avoid overdetermined bearings since
impermissibly high bearing forces may be caused by disadvantageous
tolerance ratios.
If overdetermined bearings cannot be avoided, please contact
Bosch Rexroth.
The machine design and the attached elements used have to be carefully
adapted to the motor type so that the load limits of shaft and bearing are not
exceeded.
