1-2-5. Installation and Removal of Boards
5. CPU-246 Board (BKDS-7015)
(1) Open the panel. (Refer to the section 1-2-1.)
(2) Turn off the power switch in the control panel. (Refer to the section 1-2-2.)
(3) Remove the IF-523 board. (Refer to "7. IF-523 Board" in this section.)

When Control Port Expansion Board BKDS-7001 is not installed, it is not necessary to carry out the
step (3).
(4) Disconnect the eight connectors (CN1, CN3 through CN6, CN9 through CN10 and CN17).
(5) Disconnect the flexible card wire (CN8).
(6) Remove the two screws and the CPU-246 board.
(7) Remove the 22 screws and remove the shield plate (CPU), the shield plate (CPU2) and the CPU
bracket.

(8) Install the CPU-246 board in the reverse order of the procedures (1) through (7).
