Introduction EB-50GU-A/EB-50GU-J - Compatible InterlockConfigTool is a tool you can use to verify or change EB-50's Interlock control settings.s EB-50GU-A and EB-50GU-J are collectively referred to as EB-50 (1) InterlockConfigTool allows its users to verify or change the current Interlock control settings, using the EB-50’s Initial Settings exported to an HDD or a USB memory.

Before making the settings for the Interlock Control Functions, thoroughly read the section “Web browser for Initial Settings” in the EB-50 Operation Manual. 2. This feature must not be used for disaster prevention or security purposes unless a backup device is provided in case of failure of this feature.

Installation and Uninstallation 4.1 Installation Installing the InterlockConfigTool Important ・Windows 8 may not have .NET Framework 2.0 installed as a standard application, and installation of .NET Framework 2.0 requires an Internet connection. If the computer on which the InterlockConfigTool will be installed does not have an active Internet connection, have the .NET Framework 2.0 installation file ready by following the instructions detailed under [Installation Procedures: .NET Framework 2.0].

    5. Operating Instructions 5.1 Exporting the Initial Settings of the EB-50 How to export the Initial Settings from the EB-50 to be used with the InterlockConfigTool will be explained below. Important ・Before using the InterlockConfigTool, make sure the Interlock Control license for the EB-50 is valid.

    5.3 Operating Instructions for the Interlock Control List The current interlock settings can be verified on the Interlock control list. By selecting a specific row, its detailed settings can be viewed and/or changed, using the menu bar at the left top or the buttons on the right side of the screen.

    5.3.1 Interlock Control List Function Explanation File Open *1 Opens the temporarily saved Interlock control settings file. Close *1 Closes the Interlock control settings being edited.     5.4 Editing the Interlock Settings The interlock settings for the selected rows can be edited, or a new set of interlock settings can be created as explained below. Refer to the section [Operating Procedures 1: Creating new interlock settings] for how to create new interlock settings.

    5.4.1 List of Interlock Setting Items Important ・The available settings for certain items such as “Mode” and “Fan Speed” depend on the type of indoor units connected. Making the “Input State” or “Interlock Operation” settings not supported by the connected indoor units may cause equipment trouble. Before making these settings, make sure the function is supported by the indoor units.

The exported CSV file can be opened in ® spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel. Note ・If a CSV file is not properly displayed in a spreadsheet software, change the delimiter settings from the Menu.
