Removing the MAC Unit from the Modular MAC Trolley
The MAC device should be removed from the trolley for service and/or maintenance
procedures. For this procedure, you will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
To remove the MAC unit from the Modular MAC Trolley, use the following procedure:
1.
Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two PHMS screws that secure the
MAC mounting plate to the molded top.
NOTE:
Retain the screws for later reattachment of the MAC to the trolley.
2.
Securely grasp the back of the MAC unit and tilt it to a 30 degree angle.
3.
Slide the MAC unit away from you, out of the mounting slots, and off of the trolley.
4.
Carefully set the MAC unit on a firm surface.
5.
Perform the required maintenance.
6.
Slide the MAC unit onto the top of the trolley by tilting it to 30 degrees and
slipping the tabs of the mounting plate into the slots at the front of the trolley.
7.
Ease the MAC unit down onto the molded top so it fits snuggly into the mount.
