Parking-Brake Lever
To engage the parking brake, push the lever
forward and to the left and then pull it rearward
(Figure
13).
Note:
The traction unit may roll slightly before the
brakes engage in the drive sprocket.
To release the brake, push the lever forward and
then right, into the notch

Fuel Gauge
This gauge measures the amount of fuel in the fuel
tank(s).

Engine-Oil Pressure Light
If the engine-oil pressure gets too low, this light
illuminates and an audible alarm sounds. If this
happens, shut off the engine immediately and check
the oil level. If it is low, add oil and look for possible
leaks.

3. Glow-plug switch
Battery-Charge Indicator Light
If the battery charge becomes too low, this light
illuminates and an audible alarm sounds. If this
happens, shut off the engine and charge or replace
the battery. Check the tension of the alternator belt;
refer to your engine owner's manual.
Engine-Coolant Temperature Light
If the engine coolant gets too hot, this light illuminates
and an audible alarm sounds. If this happens, shut off
the engine and allow the traction unit to cool. Check
the coolant level when the engine has fully cooled.
Glow-Plug Light
This light illuminates while the glow plugs are charged
and warming the engine.
Glow-Plug Switch
Press and hold this switch for 10 seconds to activate
the glow plugs before starting the engine.
