UPS5000 Optional BSC Card
User Manual
An optional BSC card enables Huawei's UPS and other vendor's UPS to form a dual-bus
system.
With the optional BSC card, Huawei UPS can function as a slave device to trace the output
phases of other vendor's UPS or the phases of other 80–280 V AC power supplies in real time.
The following describes how to sample the output phases of other vendor's UPS.

Description
POWER (green)
On: Other vendor's UPS has output.
Off: Other vendor's UPS has no output.
FAULT (red)
On: L and N wires of the sampling cable are incorrectly
connected.
Off: L and N wires of the sampling cable are correctly connected.
Signal ports, connected to the ECM, transmit BSC signals
Sampling ports, connected to the output U and N of other vendor's
UPS or other 80–280 V AC power supplies
Sampling voltage range: 80–280 V AC
Sampling frequency range: 44–66 Hz
