    Welcome to Toshiba • Thank you for purchasing this Toshiba LCD Colour Television. This manual will help you use the exciting features of your new TV. • Instructions in this manual are based on using the remote control. • Please read all safety and operating instructions in this manual carefully, and keep this manual for future reference.

    Programming channels into the TV’s channel memory Auto scan - digital only - As new services are broadcast, it will be necessary to re-tune the TV in order to view them. Auto scan will completely re-tune the TV and can be used to update the channel list.

    Using the stable sound The Stable sound function limits the highest volume level to prevent extreme changes in volume when the signal source changes (for example, to prevent the sudden increase in volume that often happens when a TV programme switches to a commercial).

    Using REGZA-LINK This feature uses CEC (Consumer Electronics Controls) technology and allows the control of Toshiba REGZA-LINK compatible devices from the TV remote control via HDMI connection (- page 39).
