How to clear the Error Buffer
Use one of the following methods:
Activate of the 'RESET ERROR BUFFER' command in the
SAM menu.
By pressing the following key sequence on the remote control
transmitter: 'MUTE' - '062599' - 'OK.'
Transmit the commands 'DIAGNOSE' - '99' - 'OK' with
ComPair.
If the contents of the error buffer have not changed for 50+
hours, it resets automatically.
5.5.4
Error Codes
If the set has non-intermittent faults, clear the error buffer
before you begin the repair. This to ensure that old error codes
are no longer present. Before clearing the buffer, write down
the contents, as this history can give you significant
information.

Note: Error codes 1, 6, and 18 are protection codes and in this
case, supplies of some circuits will be switched off. Also, in
protection, the LED will blink the number of times equivalent to
the most recent error code.

If possible, check the entire contents of the error buffer. In
some situations, an error code is only the result of another error
code and not the actual cause (for example, a fault in the
protection detection circuitry can also lead to a protection.)
There are various errors:
2
I
C device errors.
2
I
C bus errors.
Protection errors.
2
Errors not related to I
Black Current Loop Error (error 28): detection of a
continuous failing of the black current stabilization loop
of the HOP.
FALCONIC Error (error 26): at start-up, after
initialization of the PICNIC, the presence of the
FALCONIC can be checked.
Eagle Error (error 27): at start-up, after initialization of
the PICNIC, the presence of the Eagle can be
checked.
