Scanning multiple Image Plates

Note: The following images illustrate the CRxVision operation in a dark room
condition.
Warning:
Take care that only image plates with the same sensitivity and type are
scanned in multiple mode. Mixing up of different plate types and resolution
modes without adaptation of scan parameters may lead to lower image quality.
The erasure quality is not affected however.
To scan multiple image plates in sequential order proceed as follows:

Scan one image plate (1): The status indicator is green flashing.

Wait until the status indicator is green. Now for a time interval of 15 seconds another
image plate can be entered, with the same identification data than the previous
scanned image plate.

Enter the next image plate (2).

Entering image plates in sequential order may lead to reduced image quality.
To scan multiple image plates in parallel proceed as follows:

Place the optional magnetic IP guide (A) on the input table. Position it in parallel to the
mounted stop bar.

Enter two image plates (1) and (2).

Note: It is possible to scan more than two image plates in parallel. The scan
width of 35 cm may not be exceeded.
