Riser Card

This machine has Primary riser card (butterfly riser) which can equip 2 PCI boards (slot 1/2) and Secondary
riser card which can equip 1 PCI board (slot 3) so has high extendability.
(However 2nd riser cage can be used for 2CPU configuration)

Notes

Read the following notes when installing or removing a riser card.
Do not touch the terminals of the riser cards and the leads of electronic components with your bare hand.
Fingerprints and dust left on them cause the server to malfunction due to a connection failure or damage to
the leads.
Available type of PCI card depends on the type of a riser card. Make sure the card type before connecting
it to riser card.

Important
You must avoid static electricity to work with the procedure below. For
details, see Chapter 1 (1.8 Anti-static Measures) in Safety Precautions and
Regulatory Notices.
Important To prevent personal injury, electrical shock or equipment damage, unplug the
power cord and ensure no power is supplied to the server. You cannot turn
off the system power supply completely by the power button on the front
panel. Until the AC power cord is unplugged, the power supply circuit is still
active in some parts of the machine.
Note
In order to prevent damage of the system due to improper cooling or elevated
temperature, please do not activate the server or enclosure without installing blank
cover or PCI boards.
