ROM version for BOSS reported as firmware version
in iDRAC interface
Issue:
Starting with BOSS-S1 A01 release, BOSS-S1 versions are tracked using the ROM version. Therefore, iDRAC may
report the ROM version as firmware version. For example, 2.5.13.2008 for A01, 2.5.13.2009 for A02, or 2.5.13.3011
for A03.
Corrective Action:
This is an expected behavior and no action is required.
Firmware update of M.2 drive on BOSS-S1 controller
fails
Issue:
Firmware update of M.2 drives using the iDRAC web interface fails when the drive is in foreign state.
Corrective Action:
Import the foreign configuration before updating the firmware of the drives.
