Chapter 5 Network Capture

Network Communication operation and change of state

Network Communication can be used under the environment which one or more com-
puters are connected to the monitor via the network.
Preparation
Launch the Network Capture 3 software on the target computer ( p.66). Set the monitor
in the standby or turning on. Check IP address of the target computer is registered in the
connection list ( p.72).
Operation on the Main PC
1 Executing the command "Start Communication".

he capture editing window appears on the
screen. The icon on the task bar is activated.
2 Editing the capture image using with the tools.
The editing information is automatically
transferred to the Sub PC.
3 Releasing the editing authority.
The color of authority status frame changes green.
The color of authority status frame changes blue.
The editing information on the Sub PC is
reflected on the Main PC.
The color of authority status frame changes green.
4 Acquiring the authority.
The color of authority status frame changes red.
5 Repeat steps 2, 3 if required.
6 Executing the command "Capture transfer".
Updating the editing window with a new
captured screen image.
7 Repeat steps 2 to 5.
8 Ending the communication.
The capture editing window disappears.
The monitor displays the edited captured image on the screen when the input mode of the moni-
tor is set "Network".
The command "Save Communication" can be executed in any of the mode even if not having the
authority.
The arrow (
) shows a response to the command executed.
The execution of the command "End Communication" or "End Editing" on the Sub PC has no
effect on the other target computers.

Operation on the Sub PC
The icon on the task bar is activated to
