Configuration

Connecting TM I/O to PCS 7

As TPM 478-2 is configured by the PCS7/TM system, a special configuration

of this module is not required.

TPM 478-2 is configured automatically at system startup.

The Object Manager (OM) included in the TPM 478-2 module package must

be installed on the PCS7 system prior to initial commissioning.

Insert the installation disk in your floppy drive and run Setup. Follow the

on-screen instructions. After installation, the module is available in HW Con-

fig in SIMATIC-Manager, under SIMATIC 400, M7 Extensions.
