10 Printing your own models
10.1 Where can you get the 3D
The best way to get started with your own 3D ​ p rinting​ is to find already-created ​ m odels​ on
the ​ i nternet​ - they should be in the ​ . stl​ or ​ . obj​ format . Fortunately, there are a lot of fans and
there are sites from which you can download a large variety of ready-made 3D ​ m odels​ -
ranging from a simple shaver holder to a ​ d etailed​ aircraft engine ​ m odel​ .
3D ​ m odels​ are generally free to download under the ​ C reative Commons - Attribution -
Non​ Commercial​ (​ M odels​ not to be used commercially, you must always include the name

and you will find even basic video tutorials, so after a few minutes, nothing prevents you
