Configure Enclosures with the OA Wizard

Procedure
1 Starting with the first enclosure in the first compute rack, press OK to activate the Insight display on the
front of the enclosure.
2 Use the arrow buttons to scroll to Enclosure Settings and press OK.
3 Scroll to OA1 IPV6 and press OK.
4 Scroll to OA1 IPV4 and press OK.
5 Change network mode from DHCP to Static and press OK.
6 Navigate to Accept and press OK.
7 Set the following parameters:
•
IP Address: <<enclosure_1_oa_1_ip>>.
•
Subnet Mask: <<mgmt_net_netmask>>.
•
Default Gateway: <<mgmt_net_gw>>.
8 Navigate to Accept and press OK.
9 Using the information provided on the configuration worksheet, repeat this procedure to set the network
information on each enclosure in the solution.
Configure Enclosures with the OA Wizard
Further configure each enclosure through the web UI.
Procedure
1 Log in and configure Onboard Administrator (OA):
a Connect to the primary HPE Onboard Administrator for the first enclosure.
b If a security warning appears, choose the option Continue to this website (not recommended) to
proceed.
c Log in to the OA as the administrator, with the Admin user ID and the password from the Pull tag on
the OA module.
d On the First Time Setup Wizard Welcome page, click Next.
e On the FIPS page, click Skip.
f
On the Enclosure Selection page, click Next.
g On the Configuration Management page, click Skip.
h On the Rack and Enclosure Settings page, complete the following fields and click Next:
•
Rack Name: Enter the appropriate name.
•
Enclosure Name: <<enclosure_1_name>>.
•
Asset Tag (optional): Enter the asset tag for the system if required.
i
On the Administrator Account Setup page, click Skip.
