System Setup
1. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [DIO].
2. Keep pressing this button to locate "Word Clock Select" page.
3a. Set internal sampling rate as needed* OR...
3b. Select word clock input as needed.
4. Verify Fs box indicates "48KHz" and does not flash "UNLOCK".
5. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [SETUP].
6. Keep pressing this button to locate "Remote Port Setup" page.
7. Place cursor over AD824 box.
8. Press [ENTER].
NOTE: *48KHz is recommended for sound reinforcement (analog I/O).
Input Patching – Channel
1. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [INPUT PATCH].
2. Keep pressing this button to locate "Input Channel Patch" page.
3. Select the channel.
4. Using the data edit wheel select the input.
5. Press [ENTER].
NOTE: For internal effects returns, also patch effects processor outputs to
available input channels in this fashion.
≠ Input
Channel Names
1. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [INPUT PATCH].
2. Keep pressing this button to locate "Input Channel Name" page.
3. Edit long and/or short channel names as needed.
4. Press [ENTER].
NOTE: Turn check box "Name Input Auto Copy" on/off as needed.
Input Patching – Effects
1. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [INPUT PATCH].
2. Keep pressing this button to locate "Effects 3-8 Input Patch" page.
3. Using the data edit wheel select the processor input – usually a post
fader aux send.
4. Press [ENTER].
Output Channel Patching
1. Press LAYER / [MASTER].
2. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [OUTPUT PATCH].
3. Keep pressing this button to locate "Slot Output Patch" or "OMNI
Output Patch" page as needed.
4. Select the bus fader to patch.
5. Using the data edit wheel assign bus to output connector.
6. Press [ENTER].
