7.4.4.3 Closed loop stepping motor (40274-E018) for L. H. PM

Replacement part: 40274-E018
1 . Remove the L H-axis ASSY (40274-2600)
2 . Loosen the two supplied screws of the cou-
pling (40274-M247) through the two holes
on the L H-screw holder (40273-M244).
Rotate the ball screw (40273-
M246) to align the supplied
screws of the coupling
(40274-M249) and the holes
of the L H-screw holder
(40273-M244).
3 . Widen the space between the L H-bracket
(40273-M259) and L H-screw holder
(40273-M244) as much as possible.
Widen the space just enough so that the tip of the ball screw (40273-M246)
does not go inside the L H-bracket (40273-M259).
Caution
If the space is widened too much, the ball inside the nut drops out and the ball
screw becomes unusable.
4 . Unscrew SB3 × 35 (n = 4) to replace the
closed loop stepping motor (40274-E018)
for L. H. PM.
5 . Reassemble the parts in the reverse order.
6 . Perform the following.
1 ) Wheel calibration
2 ) Processing Adjustment
3 ) Backing up the EEPROM data
