Placing Orientations of Originals

This section describes the orientations of your originals when you place them on
the platen glass or in the feeder. Make sure that your originals are placed in the
proper orientation to achieve outputs in the desired image orientation.
IMPORTANT
• On some copy modes such as 2-Sided, the orientation of the originals must be
specified in the (optional) setting procedure. Be sure to match the setting and the
orientation of the placed originals.
• Place originals such as STMT horizontally, even if the scanning area of the platen
glass or feeder fully covers the size of vertically-placed originals.
