Use
Switching off and residual heat
indicators
To switch off a cooking zone:
^ Press the - and + sensors for the
zone you want to switch off at the
same time.
A 0 will light up in the display for that
zone for a few seconds. If the cooking
zone is still hot, residual heat will then
be indicated by three lines in the
display.
To switch off the cooktop:
^ Touch the ON/OFF sensor s.
This switches off all cooking zones. The
residual heat indicator will appear in the
display of any cooking zone which is
still hot.

The lines of the residual heat indicator
go out one after another as the cooking
zones cool down. The last horizontal
line only goes out when the cooking
zone is safe to touch.
The residual heat indicators will also
react, if a hot pan is being placed on
a cooking zone which is switched
off.
Do not touch or place any
heat-sensitive objects on the
cooking zones while the residual
heat indicators are on.
Danger of burning and fire hazard.
Please note that if there is a fault
message, the residual heat
indicators will not light up even if the
cooking zones are still hot.
