Connecting to the E5830 Wireless Modem via WiFi (PC)
After your E5830 Wireless Modem has been configured and turned on, you can connect to it via WiFi

instead of via USB. To connect a PC to the E5830 Wireless Modem via WiFi (Windows Vista ):
Step 1
Turn the device on and make sure it's connected to the internet and has its WiFi turned on.
Step 2
In the Start Menu, click on 'Connect To'.
Step 3
In the 'Connect to a Network' window that opens, select your E5830 Wireless Modem network. This
will show up as the network name of the E5830 Wireless Modem. (It will be the name you configured
in the dashboard settings. If you left the network name to its default value, it will resemble '3‐
Mobile‐Broadband‐1234')

For Windows XP, Click on the WiFi Network icon in the System Tray (next to the clock – bottom right corner or your
desktop), and click on 'View Available Wireless Networks'. Then follow Steps 3 to 4
