Battery Charger

The XA4 charger (JWC-2) is a dedicated charger made specifically for the XA4 bat-
tery, and is designed to extend the service life of the battery and to enable faster
charging.

Function 1. 4-stage charging method
1 Preliminary charging: If the battery voltage is unusually low, a low current level is used when

NOTE:
If the battery has just been shipped, or if it has been deeply discharged, charging takes approximately
120 to 130% longer than ordinary charging.
If the battery was charged when hot, and follow-up charging was done in order to supplement the
ordinary charging, charging may take up to 1.5 hours longer than ordinary charging in some cases.
If this happens, the uppermost stage of the capacity display (the fully-charged side) may flash for a
longer time period because of the longer charging time.
