After adding the detergent
If you use powder bleach, add it
into the left inlet. If you use liquid
bleach, add it into the center inlet.
Add the softener into the
right inlet.
Close the detergent case
lid.
Bleach
Do not use chlorine-based bleach in programs other than
[TUB CLEAN].
Doing so may result in malfunction of the machine.
For details on the amount of bleach and how to use it,
refer to the instructions of the oxidizing bleach.
Do not pour the bleach directly on the laundry.
Doing so may result in discoloration or damage to the
laundry.
Do not add excessive amounts of bleach.
Doing so may prolong operation time, reduce the
effectiveness of rinsing, result in malfunction, cause
leakage of water or foam from the machine or drain
outlet, or lead to electric shock.
Softener
Do not add detergent into the softener inlet.
Doing so may result in malfunction.
Do not add the softener and allow it to sit for long
periods (12 hours or more).
Doing so will result in caking.
Do not add excessive amounts of liquid detergent or
liquid bleach (max. 90 mL), or softener (max. 70 mL).
The detergent or softener may drain and come in
direct contact with laundry, resulting in discoloration or
darkening.
Using detergents or softeners that are excessively
fragrant or thick or made from natural fats and oils may
result in excessive fragrance after wash. In such cases,
reduce the amount of detergent, or run the [TUB CLEAN]
program.
(P. 52)
Pour liquid detergent, liquid bleach, and softener gently
into their respective inlets. If they are spilled, the plastic
parts may be damaged causing them to flow out.
If liquid detergent, liquid bleach, or softener comes into
contact with the top parts of the cap in the detergent
case, it may cake and remain there. Avoid the cap when
pouring.
The softener may cake in the softener inlet. In such
cases, remove the detergent case and clean it.
If any liquid detergent, liquid bleach, or softener remains
on any plastic parts on the exterior of the machine, wipe
it off immediately with a soft, damp cloth.
Failure to do so may cause rust and damage to the
plastic parts and result in injuries.
