17 SmarTrunk

1 Select "Edit > Function Port" in the FPU Menu.

2 Select SmarTrunk for the External Devices to assign functions to each port for operating the SmarTrunk

board.

3 Select "Program > Write to Radio" in the FPU Menu.

4 The configuration data is sent to the transceiver.

5 The SmarTrunk board automatically activates when the transceiver is turned ON.

Note: Select "Edit > SmarTrunk" in the FPU menu to change the SmarTrunk configuration. Write the data to the SmarTrunk board

in the "Program > Write Data to Trunking Board" display.

Note: Read the configuration data of the SmarTrunk in "Program > Read Data from Trunking Board".

Select SmarTrunk.

All necessary parameters for the

SmarTrunk are automatically

configured.
