    To remove the bit, hold the ring and turn the sleeve counter- clockwise. Depth gauge The depth gauge is used to drill holes of uniform depth. Install the depth gauge on the tool with the clamp screw and washer. Adjust the depth gauge to the desired depth and tighten the clamp screw.
