4.9.4 Replacement of Processor Board, Processor, Heat Sink
or VRM
The figure shows the Server mounted on the 140Rd-4 chassis. The Server on the 140He chassis is
different only in that it is mounted longitudinally. The replacement procedure is the same for both
servers except when specified otherwise.
1. Release the lock on the front bezel by using the security key to remove the front bezel.
2. Remove the memory slot cover on the front of the Server (by removing the two captive
screws).
3. Remove the processor slot cover (by removing 2 screws.)
4. Release the lock and open the left and right ejectors together.
