All doors and the tailgate lock or
unlock when you use the key to lock
or unlock the driver's door.

Instruments and Controls
If your vehicle is equipped with
security system, when you lock the
doors and the tailgate with the key
or the remote transmitter, all outside
turn signals and both indicators in
the instrument panel flash three
times to verify the doors and the
tailgate are locked and the security
system has set (see page 292 ).
The security system (if equipped)
activates after you lock the doors
and the tailgate with the lock tab on
the driver's door or the master door
lock switch (see page 292 ).
Lockout Prevention
If you forget and leave the key in the
ignition switch, Lockout Prevention
will not allow you to lock the driver's
door. With the driver's door open
and the key in the ignition, the
master door lock switch is disabled.
However, if the driver's door is not
open, the master door lock switch is
not disabled. If you try to lock an
open driver's door by pushing down
the lock tab, the tabs on all doors pop
up. Pushing down the lock tab on the
passenger's door only locks that door.
