    Always confirm locking of the doors by the blinking of parking lights. It can also be confirmed by the sounds of horn or buzzer when pressing the lock button twice. When the lock button is pressed twice during the engine warmed up with the remote engine starter system, horn sounds regardless of the vehicle equipment.

    Any additional transmitters need to be programmed to the ID code in the main unit. Have your Honda dealer reprogram them. The remote engine starter system can accommodate up to a total of two transmitters. When the additional transmitter is registered on the vehicle equipped with memory seat, either of driver 1 or driver 2 can be selected.

    The automatic defrost function is activated from the factory and is operational upon installation of the remote engine starter system.     For vehicles equipped with the automatic lighting off feature, when the door is opened with the key during starting the engine with the remote engine starter system, the headlight will not come on. (When the engine is stopped using the automatic lighting off feature.)

    Keyless Function During Warm Up If the engine is started using the remote engine starter system, the standard equipment keyless entry will not unlock the doors. Unlock the doors using either of the following procedures. If the engine was started with the remote engine starter system, stop the engine with the transmitter, and unlock the doors with the ignition key.
