Using the Fax Setup Options

Now that you know how to send a basic Fax message using the Fax Server, you are ready to learn
how to use the various Fax Setup options. These options make sending a Fax message easy, and
allow you to customize your message.

Recipient Entry Options

Show names from list allows you to select names from different lists so that you do not have
to type in a name manually. You can select from the Voice Mail Directory or from the
Exchange/Outlook Address Book. To use the Exchange/Outlook Address book, the worksta-
tion must have Exchange/Outlook installed. When you use the Voice Mail Directory, your fax
is sent through Fax Mail. You can then use the Fax Mail Options portion of the screen to tag
your message as Urgent, Confidential or to request a Return Receipt. For information see
page 28.

Using the Exchange/Outlook Address Book

To use the Exchange/Outlook Address Book:
1.
Initiate Sending a fax message so that you see the Fax Server Setup screen. (For help,
see page 17.

Click on the
button. You see:
