18. Procedures of Repair

18.1 RF repair's procedure

The following flow chart shows repair's procedures that comprise of
calibration, pretest, and general repair processes. In order to guarantee
existence of RF parameters in FDI, calibration files should be done first. After
conductive pretest, engineers can check whether Halley operates properly or
not.
Error codes may occur when calibrating or pretest Haley due to poor RF
performance. From categorized error codes in the following section, engineers
can infer the cause of problem by corresponding error codes, and find out the
defect component by using debug tool. There are four kinds of general RF
debug, including GSM Tx debug, GSM Rx debug, WCDMA Tx debug and
WCDMA Rx debug. Each debug method is described specifically in following
sections.
