and the enterprise network. From an Ethernet perspective, the Cisco Nexus 7000 uses virtual
PortChannel (vPC) allowing links that are physically connected to two different Cisco Nexus 7000
Series devices to appear as a single PortChannel to a third device. In the FlexPod topology both Cisco
UCS Fabric Interconnects and NetApp storage systems are connected to the Cisco Nexus 7000 switches
through vPC. vPC provides the following benefits:
