ping

The ping command sends an ICMP echo message to the recipient identified by <IP address> or <server name>.
Remarks
Supported only for IPv4.

(1) Syntax
ping {-c <count> } [<IP address>|<server name>]
(2) Options
-c <count>: This option ends the command after sending a certain number <count> of packets.
The default is 1.
