There are two ways to configure the Modem. Choose one of the
following:
Use this Quick Installation guide - If you wish, you can use the Modem's
web-based utility to install the Modem. Proceed to Step 1, and follow the
Quick Installation's instructions.
Run the Setup CD-ROM - If you wish, you can use the Setup CD-ROM to
install the Modem. Insert the Setup CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, and
follow the on-screen instructions (Windows 2000 & XP Users only).

Connecting the ADSL Modem
In Step 1, you will connect the
Modem to your ADSL line and to
the computer in your home or
business.
A
Connect one end of the
provided phone cable to
the DSL port (RJ-11 port)
that is on the back of the
Modem (Figure A).
B
Connect the other end of
the provided phone cable
to the wall jack with ADSL
service.
NOTE: Make sure you only place
the microfilter or splitter between
the telephone and wall jack and not
between the Modem and wall jack.
