Adjusting the ski spring preload
(RX10R / RX10MT / RX10 LT)

CAUTION:
The left and right ski spring preload must
be set to the same setting. Uneven set-
tings can cause poor handling and loss of
stability.
The spring preload can be adjusted by turning
the spring preload adjusting ring.

Spring preload setting (spring seat length
or spring preload adjusting ring position):
Minimum (soft):
RX10R / RX10LT 130.1 mm (5.12 in)
RX10MT 134.6 mm (5.30 in)
Standard:
RX10R / RX10LT 134.5 mm (5.30 in)
RX10MT 134.6 mm (5.30 in)
Maximum (hard):
RX10R / RX10LT 144.5 mm (5.69 in)
RX10MT 144.6 mm (5.69 in)
* The spring seat length changes ap-
proximately 1.5 mm (0.06 in) with each
full turn of the adjusting ring.

Adjusting the front shock absorber air
pressure (RX10RTR / RX10MTA)

CAUTION:
The left and right shock absorber air pres-
sure must be set to the same setting. Un-
even settings can cause poor handling
and loss of stability.
This snowmobile is equipped with FOX shock
absorbers as standard equipment.
The air pressure of the shock absorbers can
be adjusted using the shock absorber pump
included with your snowmobile.
1 . Shock absorber pump
To adjust the air pressure

Support the snowmobile securely on a
suitable stand before adjusting the shock
absorbers.

CAUTION:
Make sure that there is no load on the
shock absorbers and that they are fully ex-
tended before making any air pressure ad-
justments.

Place the snowmobile on a level surface
and apply the parking brake.
