Selecting titles from the menu
Some DVDs have a title menu that you use to select the title you want to play.
To select a title

This function can be performed with only discs that have been played once,
totally or partially.

Whilst the disc is stopped, press the TOP MENU button to
display its title menu.

Use the cursor L, M, 1 or 0 button to select the title you
want.

Press the 0 or ENTER button to start playing the selected
title.
Notes:
I Some DVDs use the term "top menu" instead of "title menu".
I If the disc you are using does not have a title menu, nothing appears on the
screen even if you press the TOP MENU button.
I The procedure shown here provides only general steps. The actual
procedure for using the title menu depends on the disc you are using. See
the disc jacket for details.
I The title menu appears only if the disc has been played once, totally or
partially.

Setting parameters using the disc menu
Some DVDs include a disc menu that you can use to select a subtitle language,
audio channel, and DTS or MPEG audio. You can also turn disc menu on and
off.
To display subtitles

This function can be performed with only discs that have been played once,
totally or partially.

Whilst the disc is stopped, press the MENU button to
display the disc menu.

Use the cursor L, M, 1 or 0 button to select the subtitle
item on the disc menu.

Press the ENTER button to display the subtitle language
selection screen.

Use the cursor L, M, 1 or 0 button to select the desired
subtitle language.

Press the ENTER button to register your selection and
display the subtitles in the language you have set.
Repeat the above procedure to make other settings (audio
channel, DTS, MPEG audio, etc.).

I During playback, you can also press the SUB TITLE button on the remote
control for the same operation in steps 1 - 3.
