Power Supplies

W hen an additional power supp
it s operation without interruption even if one of these power supply units fails (in the redundant configuration).
W hen one more additional power supply unit is installed and system operates with four power supply units, AC power can be
d ivided into two lines with a pair of power supply units. With the AC power redundant configuration, the server can continue
it s operation without power interruption even if either of AC power line fails.
If an additional power supply unit is installed while the system is operating with two power supply units, a log that represents
"p ower degrade" along with "power recovery" may be recorded in the system event log. This indi

If you disconnect the power cord immediately after you have connected it, the log indicating "power recovery" is displayed,
