LAN (Local Area Network) — a data network that
connects many devices that are relatively close to each
other, usually in the same building. This term describes
your home network including Digital Deck, PCs, routers,
switches, cabling, and broadband modems.
mp3 — refers to files of sound or music recordings stored
in the MP3 format on computers.
MPEG — a video and audio compression standard used
as the standard for Video CD, and includes the popular
mp3 audio compression format. Presently mpeg1,
mpeg2, and mpeg4 are the most common root
compression methods.
Pass-Through Mode — an eDeck with blue light on
(power) but no green light (HAS connection or lack of
Ethernet connection) will pass through the signal on
Input 1. This mode allows you to use your entertainment
systems via your device's own remote controls if your
LAN or HAS stops functioning.
