5. Cutting Patterns

In a small area
First make 2 or 3 turns in a clockwise direction, then turn around and con-
tinue cutting in the reverse direction.

In a large area
The first round of cuts is the key to making a neat finish. First, make 2 or 3
turns in a clockwise direction. As you reach the center of the area, turn to
the right and continue cutting in the reverse direction until you have finished
the upper half of the area. Cut the grass in the remaining half in a
counterclockwise direction.
