SERVICING YOUR TILLER
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the oil while the engine is warm to assure rapid and complete draining.
1. Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the used oil, and
then remove the filler cap, drain plug, and sealing washer.
2. Allow the used oil to drain completely, and then reinstall the drain plug
with a new sealing washer. Tighten the plug securely.
Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment. If you change
your own oil, please dispose of the used oil properly. Put it in a sealed container
and take it to a recycling center. Do not throw it in the trash, pour it on the ground,
or pour it down a drain.
3. With the tiller in a level position, fill with the recommended oil to the upper
limit of the level gauge (see page 27).
Running the engine with a low oil level can cause engine damage.
This type of damage is not covered under the Distributor's Limited Warranty.
4. Screw in the filler cap securely.
