GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Do notat any time makeanyadjustmentswithoutstoppingthe
engine,disconnecting the spark plugwire, groundingit againstthe
engineand relievethe hydrosystempressure.Alwayswear safety
glassesduringoperationor whileperforminganyadjustmentsor
repairs.
1. Alwaysobservethe safety ruleswhenperforming any mainte-
nance.
2. The warrantyon this log splitterdoesnotcover itemsthat have
been subjectedto operatorabuseor negligence.Toreceivefull
valuefrom the warranty, t he operatormust maintainthe equip-
ment as instructedin this manual.
3. Someadjustmentswill needto be madeperiodicallyto maintain
yourequipmentproperly.
4. Followthe maintenanceschedule(Figure 16).
5. Periodically checkall fastenersand makesurethey are tight.
