Description
The module is not supported in the Catalyst 6503 switch chassis. The
module can occupy any slot in any other Catalyst 6500 or
Catalyst 6500-E chassis except the Catalyst 6513 chassis where the
module must be installed in slots 9–13. The module does not power up
when it is installed in slots 1–8.
Dual switch-fabric connections:

– Fabric channel 1: Ports 25–48
– Fabric channel 2: Ports 1–24

Not supported.
Ships with a factory-installed WS-F6700-CFC daughter card. The

module can be upgraded in the field to support dCEF with the
installation of a dCEF daughter card (WS-F6700-DFC3A,
WS-F6700-DFC3B, WS-F6700-DFC3BXL, WS-F6700-DFC3C,
or the WS-F6700-DFC3CXL).
