In addition to automatically "spinning down" when not used for 12 minutes, to keep with a "Go
Green" initiative, you can set your Stora to turn on and off automatically. You can set the
schedule to accommodate your needs.
Note: Scheduling Stora to turn off will interrupt data transfers and pending
backup jobs will not run.

Your can configure Stora to be the destination for Windows Backup for the PC, Windows
Vista and/or Mac OSX TimeMachine backups.
By enabling this feature a special hidden section on Stora is assigned to contain the backed
up files. This section is not visible to the user because the contents are not usable by the user
directly and can only be used for restoring backups.
Vista Backup users can either choose to go through the setup tutorial after installing the
Desktop Applications or at a later time by selecting 'Vista Backup' in Stora Desktop
Applications program group. The walkthrough provides detailed step-by-step instructions on
setting up Vista Backup.
