JBOD
As an option to RAID1, if you have two disks in your Stora, you can increase capacity by
implementing JBOD. JBOD maximizes your storage capacity and increases your storage
space by choosing to use the disk as a second storage drive.
With JBOD, your data is not protected against disk failure or loss. JBOD should not be used if
you are storing important irreplaceable data, such as digital photographs.
To configure JBOD
1. Choose the option you want to implement.
2. Click Yes to continue the format process.
3. Follow the prompts that appear as the process progresses.
