Configuring EtherChannel Load Balancing

To configure EtherChannel load balancing, use the following commands in global configuration mode:
Command

Router(config)# port-channel load-balance
{src-mac | dst-mac | src-dst-mac | src-ip |
dst-ip | src-dst-ip}
Step 2
Router(config)# end
Note
For new load balancing to take affect, the EtherChannel must be first configured to the default
configuration.
Verifying EtherChannel Load Balancing
Step 1
Use the show etherchannel load-balance command to verify Layer 2 EtherChannel load balancing:
Router# show etherchannel load-balance
