After connecting to an AC outlet, be sure to set the present
time. Timer playback and timer recording are not possible
unless the time has been set.

The time display will appear as "+ -- -" when the power 1s
restored following a power failure, or f the power cord has
been disconnected.

green lettering.

TUNING INTO STATIONS

Broadcast reception is not possible unless an antenna
is connected,
so be sure te connect one
Select AM or FM.
2 Tune in the desired station by pressing

® Manuai tuning
Selected frequency changes by one step each time the ©
or @ button is pressed and quickly released. The frequency
changes continuously when the © or @ button is kept
pressed and stops when the button is released. When the
broadcasting station is tunedin, the TUNED indicator lights
up.
@ Auto tuning
The frequency changes by pressing the © or @ button tor
1 to 2 seconds and then releasing the button. The tuner will
automatically search for a broadcasting station and stop
scanning when one is tuned in
