Adjusting and Installing the
Cutting Unit

Reel driveshaft (Model 04835 and 04845)
4 Socket-head screw (Model 04835 and 04845)
1 Hex tube (Model 04865)
1 Spring (Model 04865)
1 Collar (Model 04865)
Installing the Cutting Unit
Models 04835 and 04845
1. Perform the following steps to remove the
existing reel driveshaft on your cutting unit:
A. Remove the hardware that secures the
reel-drive assembly to the side plate

B. Remove the reel-drive assembly, flat
washers, spring washers, and spacers from
the side plate
C. Remove the belt cover to expose the belt
(Figure 4).
