S-VHS format
S-VHS is a newly developed format that provides high resolution and high picture
quality (more than 400 TV lines of horizontal resolution). This is made possible by
the S-VHS video signal recording/playback circuit and high-quality S-VHS tape.
The VTR cannot record/play back ordinary VHS tapes in the S-VHS format.
