Blade Speed
Use the variable-speed knob shown in Figure 27
to adjust blade speed between 450–1500 SPM
(strokes per minute).
To reduce the risk of injury from unexpected fast
speed at startup, always rotate the variable-speed
knob all the way counterclockwise when starting/
stopping the scroll saw.

For standard scroll cutting, follow the pattern
line on the workpiece by pushing and turning the
workpiece at the same time, which allows the kerf
of the cut to make way for the turn.
DO NOT turn the workpiece without pushing it
through the blade at same time; otherwise, the
blade could twist and break.
